Liverpool return to Premier League action this weekend for the first time in three weeks.
The Reds host Brighton at Anfield as they look to return to the top of the league table. Liverpool are currently second in the standings behind leaders Arsenal, who are level on points but have a superior goal difference.
Jurgen Klopp will be forced to deal with several players on the sidelines through injury when selecting his starting line-up to face Brighton. However, there is optimism that some players will be nearing a return to action after the two-week break without any games.
Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota, Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara, Stefan Bajcetic and Ben Doak have all been out of action for several weeks, or longer in some cases. Klopp is expected to provide an update when he speaks to the media later this week.

Darwin Nunez was a fitness concern after the defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup. The striker was withdrawn from the Uruguay squad with a potential fitness issue, and it remains to be seen if he will have recovered enough to feature against Brighton. It would not be a total surprise if he did return in time, however.
Ibrahima Konate has missed Liverpool's last four matches with a muscle injury. The defender has featured for France during the international break, though, which suggests he could be back available for Liverpool on Sunday.
