West Ham boss David Moyes confirmed that miss Maxwel Cornet will be unavailable for the clash against Aston Villa through injury.
The Hammers host Villa at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League clash. West Ham go into the game on the back of a 5-0 win over Freiburg in midweek that saw the club progress to the quarter-final of the Europa League.
Moyes and Co. are now busy preparing to face Villa in the Premier League, in what will be the club's final game before the international break. However, the Hammers will be without Cornet due to injury.
There's a chance, though, that Emerson Palmieri might play against Villa on Sunday. Emerson suffered a groin injury earlier this month, and has missed West Ham's last two games.
Moyes has nearly all his players ready to feature against Villa, except for Cornet. Emerson might return at left-back if he's recovered in time, reports Birmingham Live.

“Maxwel Cornet certainly won’t be [available for Aston Villa], he’s only just back and not on the grass yet," Moyes told reporters this week. «With Emerson, it will be a late call to see how he is. He has not got a serious injury, but he has a bit of a groin strain, so we will need to see how he is.”
If Emerson remains unavailable, Aaron Cresswell will most likely take his place again at left-back against Villa. Moyes also spoke about how good Villa has been doing with Unai Emery as their coach.
