Dominik Szoboszlai explained why Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp screamed at him during Liverpool's entertaining 3-1 win over Bournemouth at Anfield.
It was during the Reds' first three points of the season that manager Klopp was spotted at the touchline screaming at new signing Szoboszlai.
Despite winning the match 3-1, Liverpool trooped through with 10-men after Alexis Mac Allister was sent off in the 58th minute, requiring the Hungarian to drop into the number 6 role in order to cover the Argentinian's missing spot.
In a post-match interview with BBC Sport, the new number 8 revealed that Klopp was 'screaming at me sometimes because I forget' about dropping deeper.
On a more positive note, the new signing expressed that he 'feeling really, really great' and hopes to 'do even more here in front of the fans'.
Szoboszlai praised the Reds' performance: 'We are there for each other and if somebody gets sent off then we change some of the things and I go back as a six.
'Even the manager was screaming at me sometimes because I forget it.' The midfielder added, after Klopp was seen being highly animated in the box.
The red card for World Cup winner Mac Allister required the number 8 to drop into the number six role, though Szoboszlai admitted he was 'forgetting' at times, resulting in a 'screaming' Jurgen Klopp.
'We fight for each other and we even scored after the red card.'
The midfielder acknowledged the Reds' shaky start after Antoine Semenyo's opening goal, though acknowledged that their response to the early goal and a red card was 'unbelievable'.
'The reaction after losing a goal was unbelievable. We had no stress, we were calm on the ball and in front of the goal. We changed some things and it worked.
