Mikel Arteta endured a tough Sunday afternoon as he watched his side fall to a late defeat to Liverpool after having suffered something of a wardrobe malfunction earlier in the game.
Liverpool beat their Premier League title race rivals at the Emirates Stadium with an own goal from Jakub Kiwior off a Trent Alexander-Arnold free-kick and a goal from Luis Diaz doing the damage.
The Reds had been without key stars Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk, with the former away on international duty at AFCON and the latter ruled out sick ahead of the game.
Yet despite soaking up heavy pressure in the opening stages of the game the visitors held firm, and after the break began to have more of an influence on the game, with Trent Alexander-Arnold impressing with several long balls over the top.
However for Arteta there was another negative to come, which the cameras accidentally picked up when filming the Spanish boss agonise on the touchline.
Sat in the dugout with his assistant Arteta could be seen living every second of the game with his side looking for an opener.
After one particularly effort seemed to come quite close, the Gunners boss had his hands wrapped around his head in agony as he couldn't believe his side hadn't made an impact.
But the cameras unwittingly showed that Arteta had somehow split the inside seam on the crotch of his trousers while in the dugout.
Naturally viewers were quick to latch onto the Arsenal boss' sartorial faux pas on social media, as they quickly stuck the boot in.
One fan wrote: 'LMFAOO ARTETA SO FRUSTRATED W THEM HE SPLIT HIS TROUSERS IM ACC CRYING.'
Another said: 'Think Arteta might wanna buy some new trousers,' accompanied with a laughing emoji.
And a third joked: 'Never mind a new striker, Arteta
