EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney broke his collarbone after being ran over by Chelsea star Wesley Fofana on a night out.
After being struck by the French centre-back's Lamborghini, Gaffney was treated at hospital for his injuries sustained.
Gaffney was hit while attempting to hail a cab on King's Road in Chelsea, West London, and was subsequently treated in the hospital before being released.
Fofana, a 23-year-old French international earning £230,000 per week, passed a breathalyser test at the scene and was not held responsible for the incident.
According to The Sun, a source said: 'It was a nasty accident and Dean said afterwards that he was lucky to be alive and was counting his blessings.
'He'd just left a nightspot and was trying to get in a black cab when the Lamborghini hit him in the midriff, catapulting him into the air.
'He was out cold and his mates were all really worried. The emergency services gave him pain relief and he was patched up in hospital.' The source told The Sun.
Gaffney only learned of Fofana's involvement later, and the footballer was reportedly unaware of the former EastEnders' icon's identity.
The incident occurred in December 2022, and Gaffney did not discuss the accident publicly as no blame was assigned.
