Erling was thrown a surprise dinner at a restaurant in the Japanese capital where he was given a cake with candles to blow out.
Jack, who has become the Norwegian superstar’s bestie since he arrived in England last summer, led him into the room and sang Happy Birthday to him.
The Brummie midfielder, 27, who has somewhat of a penchant for parties, could also be seen dancing in the background with other Manchester City footballers.
Erling was presented with a large cake but refused to blow out the candles despite Jack encouraging him to.
One source close to the England star told MailOnline: 'Jack adores Erling, they have a really special friendship.
'They are as tight as anything when it comes to football but they also have such a laugh off of the pitch. They have become a real support for one another. And it’s always a little bit sad to be away from your family on your birthday so it was lovely that Jack made such a fuss.'
Jack also posted a picture of him and Haaland posed up with the Champions League trophy together on a private jet on the way back from Istanbul after winning the match against Inter Milan.
He wrote alongside it: 'Happy Birthday brother,' followed by three blue heart emojis.
Later in the day, Erling’s fellow Manchester City player, Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic also broke into song to mark his birthday.
