New Chelsea signing Nicolas Jackson has praised manager Mauricio Pochettino, describing him as 'amazing'.
Senegal international Jackson joined Chelsea from Villarreal for £32million last month and signed an eight-year contract.
Jackson scored and provided two assists in Chelsea's 4-3 friendly win over Brighton in the USA and is certainly relishing working under Pochettino, saying that the manager is making it clear that he is the one in charge.
The 22-year-old added that he doesn't have any problems with the amount of running that he is being asked to do.
Jackson told Chelsea's official website: 'You just know he is the man, the one in charge. Let me repeat. I am so, so happy right now. Pochettino is amazing. The running is fine, some players would say it's not, but for me, no problem.'
Chelsea have further friendlies to come against Newcastle, Fulham and Borussia Dortmund, and Jackson will be determined to continue making an impact as he stakes a claim for frequent involvement when the real action gets underway.
Jackson added that he will be 'speechless' when he scores his first goal at Stamford Bridge.
He said: 'So when I score my first goal at the Bridge, I think I will be speechless. All I'lI say is, just you wait for my big smile! Blues, thank you for welcoming me with open arms. I feel the love already.'
There has been a significant amount of change already at Chelsea during this transfer window, with players such as Kalidou Koulibaly, Mateo Kovacic, Edouard Mendy, Kai Havertz, N'Golo Kante, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang amongst those to leave the club.
In addition to Jackson, Chelsea have also signed Christopher Nkunku, Diego Moreira and Angelo Gabriel.
