Erling Haaland has claimed Manchester City must be "brave" when taking on Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
City travel to Anfield on the back of a 3-1 derby win over Manchester United and have the chance to overtake the Reds in the table should they take all three points on their upcoming trip to Merseyside.
Pep Guardiola's side have won only two of their previous 32 games at the home of Liverpool, one of which occurred with no fans present during the 2020/21 season, and will be all too aware of the difficulties they will face once again this weekend.
Phil Foden recently acknowledged City's record at Anfield has not been up to standard and Haaland has made clear he and his team-mates must play with no fear against the Reds.

"First of all, I haven't thought of that game until you asked me now," said the Norwegian striker of Sunday's clash.
"I focus on Copenhagen right now. But, yeah, it's a massive game. It's going to be a huge game, it's one of the biggest games in England. We have to be ready for the game, we have to be brave and play at our best because they've been really good this season."
Haaland was on target for City during the 1-1 draw between the sides back in November, with Trent Alexander-Arnold striking late on to earn a point for Liverpool. The Norwegian striker failed to find the back of the net on his maiden visit to Anfield with City last term, suffering a 1-0 defeat, though did score at the Reds' famous stadium during a Champions League group stage game for RB Salzburg in October 2019.
