Former Everton player Richard Dunne has backed Sean Dyche to “galvanise” the current team to beat the drop but fears they could be vulnerable if a big money offer comes in for Jarrad Branthwaite.
Dunne, who made the first of his 72 Everton appearances as a 17-year-old in a career in which he played 431 Premier League games, told instantcasinos.com: “It is hugely important for Everton that they stay in the Premier League.
“They already have financial difficulties and getting relegated would only multiply that even more. It is massively important that they avoid relegation.

“I do think they will stay up because Sean Dyche is such a good manager with saving teams from going down. They’ve been on a poor run of form lately and they haven’t been scoring as many goals as they’d like, but I think Dyche can galvanise the group for the final 10 games of the season. Hopefully he can get them through this tough period and try to rebuild.
“They’ve almost got to start from scratch next season and they firstly need to make sure that they don’t put themselves in another bad situation financially. Then hopefully they can improve and start to progress rather than just survive every year.”
Playing in Dunne’s old centre-back position, 21-year-old Jarrad Branthwaite, who was called up for the England squad for the first time for their games against Brazil and Belgium at Wembley over the past week, has been Everton’s breakthrough star of the season.
