Manchester City star Erling Haaland has praised Arsenal's Martin Odegaard, admitting he would make Man City an even better team.
Both players represent Norway internationally and are preparing for a friendly match against Czechia this Friday. They've also been rivals in the Premier League title race for the past two seasons.
Since joining Man City in 2022, Haaland has been in sensational form and is on course to win his second golden boot in a row after leading them to a treble last season. On the other hand, Odegaard has become a crucial player for Arsenal since his transfer from Real Madrid in 2021.
Arsenal's boss Mikel Arteta named him captain at the start of the previous season, and he led them in an unexpected title challenge. The 25-year-old is widely seen as one of the top midfielders in the Premier League.
Haaland, who has played with Odegaard on Norway's senior team for the last five years, shares this high opinion. Although he admitted there's no chance of Odegaard moving to Etihad, he insisted that the midfielder would enhance Pep Guardiola's squad, reports the Mirror.
He said: «Yes, I think so. There's a good player, and a player that plays for our rivals. He's just signed a new contract, so it's not a topic, but at City we have a lot of best players in the world.»

«You have changed a little. You were more like a little b****** in the beginning. You were so childish.
