Everton are still anxiously waiting the conclusion to their appeal over a 10-point deduction handed down by the Premier League, which is expected over the next 48 hours. The fair play handshake was roundly jeered, as is customary at Goodison Park.
The Toffees have yet to be notified of a specific date and are due more uncertainty over the coming weeks, with a second case for allegedly breaking profitability and sustainability rules to be heard by the end of March.
