According to RMC Sport , Paris Saint-Germain look to secure the future of one of the brightest talents in their academy as they look to sign Joane Gadou (17) to a professional contract.
The young centre-back has drawn comparisons to former academy product El Chadaille Bitshiabu (18) and with other top European clubs circling, Les Parisiens want to act quickly on a player that could become a part of their future.
Gadou like Warren Zaïre-Emery (17) before him has progressed past his age range having begun to play matches for Zoumana Camara’s under-19s, which has included three Youth League matches and eleven championship matches (once as a substitute).
The defender has also represented France in the under-17s bracket where his coach, Jean-Luc Vannuchi, referred to Gadou as “ a force of nature, he combines power and speed, while being interesting with his use of the ball. He’s able to play short, play long. He has a great mindset. He’s a defender who likes to defend, which isn’t always the case .”
And while Gadou has yet to make a senior appearance for PSG, he was featured on the bench during the club’s 9-0 victory over US Revel in the Coupe de France.
