Everton's January transfer window is expected to be a quiet one after the club's director of football, Kevin Thelwell stated that the club is unlikely to sign any players as "financial prudence is crucial."
The Blues were docked 10 points in November 2023 after an independent commission determined they had breached the Premier League's financial regulations. While they have filed an appeal against the deduction, Everton are currently near the bottom of the Premier League standings, just above the relegation places.
