Olympique Lyonnais and Villarreal CF have agreed a deal for Arnaut Danjuma as the winger waits for Everton to make a decision on his future.
The ECHO understands that while the Netherlands international would like to remain at Goodison Park if he becomes part of Sean Dyche’s plans, he has also grown frustrated with his lack of game time in the first half of the season.
It is now up to Everton to decide whether they want to let Danjuma depart the club. The winger joined on loan for the season in the summer, just months after snubbing a move to Goodison Park in favour of a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur.
Meanwhile, Hannibal Mejbri currently favours a move to Sevilla over Everton as the two clubs continue to battle for his signature.
The ECHO reported on Monday morning that the Blues had held talks with Manchester United over a loan deal for the midfielder.
Both Everton and Sevilla have been progressing in their efforts to land the 20-year-old, but neither have managed to officially agree a deal with United. However, the ECHO understands that Hannibal's current personal preference is edging towards a move to the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium.
