Everton Women's boss Brian Sorensen has signed a new contract at Walton Hall Park.
The Dane joined the club in the summer of 2022 on an initial two-year deal. However, he has now agreed fresh terms that will see him stay on Merseyside until at least June 2026.
Sorensen enjoyed a successful start to his time at Everton, guiding the Blues to a sixth-place finish in the Women's Super League (WSL) last season. It has been a far more challenging campaign this term, with injuries, departures and a restricted budget all contributing to Everton's dip in form.

Sorensen's side are currently tenth in the WSL with just four games of the season left to play. They are currently nine points clear of the relegation zone, with upcoming games against Brighton & Hove Albion, Tottenham Hotspur and bottom-placed Bristol City representing a good opportunity to pick up some crucial points between now and the end of the season.
After committing his future to the Blues, Sorensen told evertontv: “I’m very happy - I really like it here. I like the club, I like the people in the club and I like the fans. There’s a plan in place, we have a good future and a good squad going forward. I think it’s important to show in the background there’s a plan.
“Results this season haven’t been the best at times - injuries to key players have been a big part of that - but we are performing extremely well and we have a good group. We want to continue working on that. The building blocks are there.
