Ex-Tottenham striker admits he can't rule out Postecoglou winning the Premier League this season
Louis Saha says he cannot rule out Tottenham Hotspur surprising everyone and winning the Premier League this season.
Spurs have started the Ange Postecoglou era well and sit in second place in the fledgling table, having won three of their first four matches and drawn the other. The Australian has made it very clear that there will be bumps in the road ahead and that the team are only just beginning to take on what he wants from them.
However, Saha believes that he has already seen enough to suggest that this new-look Tottenham side could shock a few people during this campaign, particularly without a packed fixture schedule after they failed to qualify for European competition.
When asked if Tottenham could win trophies, he told Betfred: «Yes, because everything's possible. They have a big squad, they’re playing very well and as we’ve seen Leicester City win the Premier League, I’m not going to say that Tottenham Hotspur can’t win the Premier League title this season.

«I hope that Tottenham can be consistent this season and push Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United and all the rest.»

He added: «Tottenham needs to be wary because we’ve seen them start the season well before and then they’ve gone off the boil. We will get the real answers of just how good this current Tottenham team is when we get deeper into the fixture list.
