It's not even a third of the way through the 2023/24 season yet and first leaks have emerged with fresh design updates for the new Chelsea kit for 2024/25. The Blues only released their third kit for this season last month with the reveal of the 'Eton Blue' jersey worn against Bournemouth but plans appear to be well underway for developing next year's top.
There was plenty of uncertainty over the shirt being worn now on a weekly basis throughout the summer already with the club making a sponsorless version of the kit available to buy for over six weeks after failing to strike a deal with a front-of-shirt sponsor.
It meant that unlike some clubs there was no early unveiling of the kit in the final weeks of last campaign and many had to wait until three days after the season opener against Liverpool before they could buy the slick, 90s inspired number. It has now gone down as one of the best recent kits for the club with many hailing it as Nike's finest since they started in 2016.
The club then waited until pre-season before the release of their black away shirt with blue shockwave lines. Finally the third kit was made available with the mint green shirt becoming yet another fan favourite.
However attention has already turned to the new campaign and looking sharp on the field with Gol De Sergio revealing the first details over the top for the third shirt to be worn in 2024/25. Although no images are available the colour design has been put to the test by FootyHeadlines.
