Diego Moreira appears to have linked up with a new personal trainer in his efforts to earn a place in Chelsea's squad.
The wingerarrived at Stamford Bridge in July last year on a free transfer from Portuguese giants Benfica. His only senior appearance for the Blues came in a 2-1 win over AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup back in August.
Moreira also made three appearances for Chelsea's under-21 side before joining French Ligue 1 team Olympique Lyonnais on loan in September. But after making just nine appearances for Lyon, the 19-year-old's stay in France was cut short as he returned to West London in January.
And now the Portugal U-20 international looks to be trying to get into shape in his hopes for a chance to impress Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino. A photo posted on the Instagram account of fitness coach Ronald K shows Moreira working hard in the gym alongside the caption: «STAY MOTIVATED».
The personal trainer has previously worked with several Premier League stars including Romeo Lavia and Manchester City's Jeremy Doku.
