A new music school has opened in Liverpool.
The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) has been offering music courses to students for more than 30 years. Originally based in London, the music school offers a range of courses and tutoring, with options based on singing, instruments, music business and event management.
Now, ICMP has opened up a new site, located in the SAE Institute located at Georgia House, 38 Pall Mall in the city centre. It will offer three types of courses for aspiring musicians. Short-term evening courses and music summer schools will be focussed on music production and song writing. Meanwhile, specialist industry courses will feature teaching on the likes of sound engineering, post production for TV, film and video games and mixing.
