Arsenal will face German giants Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final following Friday morning's draw in Switzerland.

The Gunners earned their spot in the last eight after a dramatic penalty shoot-out win over FC Porto on Tuesday night. David Raya denied Wendell and Ganderson from the spot to keep alive hopes of a double.

Bayern Munich are next in their hunt for European glory meaning Harry Kane will once again look to hurt the north Londoners. The former Tottenham striker has scored 14 goals against Arsenal in his career so far.

The quarter-final tie was see Arteta welcome Thomas Tuchel's side to the Emirates Stadium in the first-leg before visiting the Allianz Arena for the first time since the 5-1 defeat in 2017.

Bayern visit England on Tuesday, April 9 before the return leg takes place the following week. Arsenal visit Brighton the weekend before the first-leg and take on Aston Villa afterwards.

However, the visit of Unai Emery's men will be rescheduled to the following day — Sunday, April 14 — after Villa progressed to the next round of the Europa Conference League with a 4-0 win over Ajax.

Villa's quarter-final tie will take place on Thursday, April 11 meaning their trip to the Emirates Stadium will be pushed back to Sunday. That also means that Arsenal's second-leg in Germany will take place on Wednesday, April 17.

April is set to be a crucial month for the club with seven games now confirmed. Should they progress to the semi-final, that number could increase to eight if the first-leg of the last four is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30.
