Arsenal now have the prospect of facing one of the two teams Thierry Henry wanted his former club to avoid in the Champions League draw.
The Gunners were drawn to face Bayern Munich in the quarter-final of the competition on Friday. The tie will take place next month, with the Emirates Stadium hosting the first leg before Arsenal go to the Allianz Stadium a week later.
Arsenal defeated Porto in their last-16 tie to set up a quarter-final against Bayern Munich. Elsewhere, the Bundesliga giants overcame a 1-0 deficit to beat Lazio in the previous round.
