Harry Kane has issued an injury update following England's 1-0 defeat to Brazil on Saturday night. The 30-year-old striker missed the Three Lions' friendly at Wembley Stadium due to an ankle injury which he suffered just before the international break.
Kane picked up a knock during Bayern Munich's clash against SV Darmstadt in the Bundesliga, yet Gareth Southgate still named him in the latest England squad. Speaking to reporters in the mixed zone after the Three Lions defeat, the frontman was asked for an update on his situation.
«I'm okay. I'm okay. We'll see,» said Kane, who kept his cards close to his chest. While the former Tottenham Hotspur captain remained coy, he's been ruled out of England's friendly with Belgium on Tuesday evening and will travel back to Germany for further assessment.
Kane hasn't been the only England player to visit the treatment room recently, with somewhat of an injury crisis sweeping through St George's Park. On what is a far from ideal situation, Southgate said: «Everyone wants simple solutions to complex problems.

“Some players have had runs of injuries, some have perhaps played too many games too quickly after coming back from injuries. The intensity of the games could be an aspect.
