‘Our house’ - Arsenal and Bayern Munich dressing room reactions after Champions League clash
Arsenal go into their Champions League quarter-final second leg against Bayern Munich with the scores level, leaving it all to play for in Madrid thanks to a 2-2 draw on Tuesday night.
Bukayo Saka opened the scoring for Arsenal after 12 minutes, but former Gunner Serge Gnabry came back to haunt them just six minutes later by drawing Bayern level. The German giants had turned the game around before half time when Harry Kane scored from the penalty spot.
Arsenal weren’t done there though and drew level in the 76th minute through Leandro Trossard. It could have been even better for the Gunners had the referee pointed the the penalty spot in the final seconds when Saka tangled with Manuel Neuer, but appeals were waved away.
It now all comes down to the 90 minutes (or 120, if extra time is needed) in Munich. Arsenal make the journey over to Germany on Wednesday, 17 April (8pm kick-off).
