Arsenal will take on German giants Bayern Munich in their Champions League quarter-final as they look to take a step closer to the final of the competition.
The Gunners booked their place in the stage of the tournament thanks to a penalty shootout victory against Porto on Tuesday night. David Raya was the hero after he saved two spot kicks to send Arsenal through to the quarter-final.
Just three days later, on Friday, they discovered their opponents as the draw took place. The game will see them come up against an old nemesis in former Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Despite their 10-point deficit at the top of the Bundesliga, Bayern came from behind in the first leg to ease past Italian side Lazio in their round-of-16 tie on Tuesday night. Goals from Kane and Thomas Muller gave them a 3-0 win, with an aggregate score of 3-1.
While eyes will now be back on Premier League matters for Arsenal, the clash against Bayern will also bring excitement. Here is everything you need to know.
The date of the quarter-final against Bayern is yet to be confirmed, however, it is expected that the first leg will take place on Tuesday, April 9 with the return leg on Wednesday, April 17. The first leg of the tie will be played at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium with the second taking place a week later at Bayern’s Allianz Arena.

If they get through the clash against Bayern, then Arsenal will face either Real Madrid or Manchester City in the final four. The semi-finals of the competition take place on the week commencing April 29 with the second leg on the week commencing May 6.
