Manchester United defender Eric Bailly is in talks to join Fulham.
Bailly is the forgotten man of Old Trafford and has been seeking a move away from the club for some time, but no suitors have yet stepped forward.
He was deemed surplus to requirements by Erik ten Hag when the Dutchman took over at Old Trafford last season, joining Marseille on loan in France before returning this summer.
All parties are still trying to negotiate a move away for Bailly, with it looking like Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr would step up to move for him, though that potential deal has been slow going and looks to have collapsed.
Fulham however are prepared to give the Ivory Coast international, who is on £80,000-a-week and still has a year remaining on his deal, the chance to stay in the Premier League.
Marco Silva's side have signed Raul Jimenez, Calvin Bassey and Adama Traore so far this transfer window as they look to improve on last season's 10th-place finish in the Premier League and they are looking to add to their defensive department.
It's unlikely Bailly leaving United to join Fulham - or any club - would command a large fee.
There's been plenty of movement, meanwhile, with Manchester United in the centre back department this summer, with Harry Maguire the centre of speculation over a potential move to West Ham.
That move has however fallen through, with Maguire and Ten Hag happy for the England international to stay at the club to fight for his place.
Jonny Evans also rejoined the club on a short-term deal at the start of the off-season and United are ready to extend his contract until the end of the season.
The 35-year-old is back at the club he spent time at as a trainee before going onto make 196 senior appearances for the Red Devils.
