Frank Warren's attempt to convince Cristiano Ronaldo to join Arsenal has failed, after the Portuguese star laughed off the idea.
The boxing promoter was sat ringside next to the Al-Nassr striker at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia, as the pair looked forward to seeing Antony Joshua take Otto Wallin in the main event of the Day of Reckoning show.
Seeing the opportunity to try and tempt Ronaldo to sign for his beloved Gunners, Warren was seen on a video shared by his Queensbury Promotions cheekily telling the camera 'He's signing for Arsenal'.
His attempt seemed to be in vain, however, as the 38-year-old immediately roared with laughter at the suggestion he'd move to the Emirates.
Indicating that he has no desire to move back to the Premier League with a move to table-topping Arsenal - despite his friendship with big Gunners supporter Piers Morgan.
Ronaldo is currently enjoying life in the Middle East, and was also seen deep in conversation with Colin McGregor during the event in Saudi Arabia.
Along with Joshua's fight, the card also featured fights featuring Deontay Wilder's bout against Joseph Parker and Dmitry Bivol defending his WBA Light Heavyweight title.
The Portuguese icon is currently reportedly on a £177million-a-year deal with Al-Nassr earning him around £3.4m a week.
So far this season he has scored 27 goals in 29 games, meaning has already passed the 50 goal-mark since moving to the club in January last year.
Despite his goals, Ronaldo's team still currently trail Saudi Pro League leaders Al-Hilal by ten points with the season just over halfway through.
