EA Sports and UEFA announce a new atep in their fruitful partnership

Fans of e-sports and football, in particular, will be pleased to hear about the latest surprise EA Sports has in store for them. In a statement issued today, the studio announced that its partnership with UEFA is finally extending to consoles worldwide.

Simultaneously with the kick-off of Euro 2024, EA Sports will launch a free in-game update for all EA SPORTS FC 24 players on all platforms.

David Jackson, Vice President of Brand at EA Sports FC, said, «We're delighted to announce that one of next summer's biggest football tournaments will be fully integrated across EA Sports FC titles.»

In turn, Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA Marketing Director, said that the organization is pleased to expand its partnership with EA Sports.

"UEFA Euro 2024 is one of the world's most vibrant and exciting football tournaments, and we're thrilled that the huge EA Sports FC 24 community across the globe will get the chance to engage with the tournament in such an authentic gaming environment," he said.

As part of its partnership with EA, UEFA announced the start of its online football tournament, which will use the EA Sports FC 24 platform.

The competition will be an annual tournament, where players from all over the world can participate, representing one of the UEFA national teams.

Although the organizers have not yet reported the details, they did announce that there will be different qualification phases until reaching a grand final. The first championship game of this competition will be held in the summer of 2024.

Furthermore, all fans who play the game before January 26, 2024, will receive an exclusive and non-transferable Ultimate Team Player item featuring one of the stars of E
