Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is demanding more from the usually raucous Anfield crowd after TV pundit Gary Neville and United fans flagged up a similar issue on their recent visit to the stadium.

Returning to action at the same venue on Tuesday night, Liverpool were convincing winners against West Ham in their Carabao Cup quarter-final match-up. However, while the Reds shone on-field by scoring five goals, Klopp was less than impressed by the noise levels around him.

Klopp, 56, continued: "If it's too much football in December or if you are not in the right shape, give your ticket to somebody else. In the first half [against West Ham] - when the boys played exceptionally - I was not overly happy with the atmosphere behind me.
