Preston North End boss Ryan Lowe says he will only consider a January move for Manchester United academy product Dan Gore if any of his current players leave next month.
The Manchester Evening News reported on Tuesday that the Championship club hold an interest in the 19-year-old, although Lowe has described it as not being 'concrete'. Gore made his senior debut in September after being a part of Erik ten Hag’s pre-season squad.
He has made nine matchday squads this term but is yet to expand on his 30-minute League Cup outing. Lowe has hailed the talents of Gore and says he is a potential transfer option for PNE.

"Dan Gore, midfielder, yeah I am aware of him," Lowe told the Lancashire Post. "But there is no concrete interest; we have got too many players at the moment.
“I do like him. He is a good player. We do like him but he is not one for now - unless anyone moves out the door. He's probably one of six, seven, eight, nine, 10 we'll be linked with over the next week.
“If there are any loan lads out there who we feel can be better, and anyone goes out the door, then we'll have a look at it. Until then, we're fine with the squad we've got."
Gore is now a regular trainer with the United first-team but has still kept his match fitness up with the academy. He has featured in three UEFA Youth League matches, two EFL Trophy ties and two Premier League 2 fixtures, scoring against Blackburn in one of them.
