Manchester United weighing up possible loan departures in transfer window
Manchester United are weighing up potential loan departures in the final weeks of the January transfer window.
There is widespread interest in winger Facundo Pellsitri, Sevilla and Everton have contacted the club about forward Hannibal Mejbri and midfielder Dan Gore could be allowed to head out on loan.
A loan for academy striker Joe Hugill is being finalised which will also include a new contract for the 20-year-old. Hugill was named on the bench for United's FA Cup third round win against Wigan Athletic.
Such is the depleted state of the United squad that there is currently reluctance to sanction loans that would leave manager Erik ten Hag short of senior personnel.

United were without 11 players through injury and illness at Wigan, while Sofyan Amrabat is on international duty with Morocco at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Ten Hag suggested up to three players could recover in time for United's only Premier League fixture of the month against Tottenham on Sunday. "I think there will be some players (back). I think it's hopeful they can be back at the weekend.
"I'm talking about Christian Eriksen, potentially Luke Shaw. Harry (Maguire) maybe." Spurs are fifth in the Premier League table and seven points clear of eighth-placed United.
Jadon Sancho's expected loan to Borussia Dortmund is still progressing, with the winger free to leave after he was banished from the first team squad four months ago.
Pellistri, 22, and Mejbri, 20, emerged late on against Wigan but the former last started for United in September while Mejbri last lined up against Galatasaray in early October.
