Arsenal are preparing for yet another huge clash this weekend as they prepare to host Burnley in their final game before the November international break. The past month or so has been far from easy for the Gunners as they've tried to balance playing in three separate competitions.

With the team bowing out of the Carabao Cup as well as being handed a defeat away to Newcastle in the league, there were naturally questions arising over their form. Victory in the Champions League over Sevilla has put them in the driving seat to qualify for the knockout rounds though and they're in touching distance of the title challenge in the Premier League.

The balancing of winning matches as well as keeping the whole squad has been something of a challenge for Mikel Arteta, with injuries piling up before the tie with Burnley. Jurrien Timber, Gabriel Jesus, Emile Smith Rowe and Thomas Partey are all set to miss out, while Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Takehiro Tomiyasu are among a few doubts.

«As you mentioned we have a few,» Arteta told the press when asked about those injury doubts on Friday. «A few still in contention. We need to give them 24 more hours to give them a chance. We won’t know anything till tomorrow.»
