Gary Neville says Arsenal will NOT win EPL without their centre-backs and Rice

Arsenal put an end to their Manchester City drought, securing three points from a 1-0 win over Pep Guardiola's side at the Emirates.

The game was held to a 0-0 draw throughout, until substitute Gabriel Martinelli netted home the eventual winner for the hosts.

Speaking after the match, Gary Neville claimed that it was a 'big moment for them' at the Emirates.

After being title-chargers last season, Neville claimed that Mikel Arteta's side will not not be in with a similar chance this season without their new £105million signing Declan Rice.

'They will not win the league if they don't have the two centre backs and Rice.

Neville was impressed by the performance of Gabriel and William Saliba, as well as midfielder Declan Rice, though admitted that he was 'worried' about David Raya's nervous start to the Gunners' City clash.

'He's averted a little bit of a crisis there. That could have been a real problem.

Arsenal have not beaten Manchester City in the Premier League since 2015, with today's victory marking a historical three points for the North London side.
