Guler unable to train with Real Madrid
The problems for Arda Guler continue. The striker arrived at Real Madrid in the summer from Fenerbahce as a promising talent and generated expectations, but so far he has not been seen... and at the moment, he will not be seen either.
"It didn't seem like nothing, but it's still bothering him. It's not a serious thing. The player is depressed because he wants to play. It's a small step back, but it's not a relapse of the old injury and we have the whole international break to recover him better," explained the Real Madrid coach in a press conference.
Guler was included in Real Madrid's last two squad lists, although he did not play any minutes and did not even warm up. He was expected to play against Valencia at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, but this new setback delays his debut.
Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham, who did not participate in Wednesday's Champions League match against Sporting Braga (3-0) due to a dislocated left shoulder, started training on Friday with his teammates. His availability in Saturday's La Liga match against Valencia will depend on his feelings after the last training session.
This final decision will be agreed with Ancelotti, as he did for the match against Sporting Braga for which it was decided not to take any risks. Bellingham injured his left shoulder last Sunday against Rayo Vallecano after a bad knock in an action with Isi Palazon.
Eder Militao and Thibaut Courtois, Aurelien Tchoaumeni, Dani Ceballos, who is recovering from muscular discomfort, Antonio Rudiger and Kepa Arrizabalaga were also absent.
