Erling Haaland has admitted he 'couldn't believe his eyes' when he produced an outrageous miss in the Manchester derby and bizarrely claimed it will happen again in the future.
City's talisman eventually found the target with the final goal of the day against Man United in Sunday's 3-1 win at the Etihad, but only after he had skewed an effort from close-range.
The hosts were chasing an equaliser after Marcus Rashford opened the scoring with a stunning strike from distance when the usually-reliable Haaland scuffed his shot from two-yards out.

Now he has spoken out after his glaring miss that caused team-mate Rodri to pump his first into the air in frustration and simply stated 's*** happens.'
'I didn't believe my own eyes,' Haaland told TNT Sports.
'But it's going to happen again I think in my career so what can I say s*** happens.
'I struggled a lot when I was younger and also even sometimes now as well, it's hard as I demand a lot from myself and also I know my team-mates demand a lot from me.
'Sometimes it's not the easiest thing but it's a mental thing and I think that's a good thing about being strong mentally,' he added.
The City star has scored 80 goals in 84 appearances for the reigning Premier League and Champions League champions since moving to the club two-years ago and has smashed records along the way.
His debut campaign in the England last season ended
