Nathan Collins Won his usual fair share of aerial duels and looked composed with the ball at his feet. Being at the centre of a three-man set up suits him far more than playing on the right, as he has done regularly for Brentford, or in a pair. 6
Dara O’Shea Harshly penalised for the free kick that led to Shaqiri’s opening goal but he was solid. The most lasting element of this strange break may be the creation of a back three that could be in place for many years. 6
Seamus Coleman Having put in a resilient performance on Saturday, the captain looked heavy-legged at the beginning here and was targeted by the Swiss. Enjoyed one decent exchange with Szmodics in the second half to win a corner. Harshly booked late on. 5
Josh Cullen Another whose impact here was far diminished compared to the Belgium game. Struggled to gain control of midfield and notably had his pocket picked on the hour mark. 5
Jason Knight Substituted early in the second half and did not leave much of an impact. Made a couple of careless passes under minimal pressure and the highlight was one decent diagonal run before finding Mikey Johnston with a deep cross nearing the break. 5
