Harry Kane has revealed he is watching Son Heung-min 'every week' after his former teammate notched up 400 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur.
Son played his 400th game for Spurs in their 1-1 draw at West Ham United on Tuesday night, only a few days after breaking into the club's top-five on their list of all-time leading scorers.
To celebrate Son's achievements, Tottenham's social media team rounded up a number of his ex-teammates to send him video messages.
The post opened with a message from Kane, who left Spurs for Bayern Munich a matter of days prior to the start of the 2023/24 Premier League season.
«What’s happening, Sonny? Just wanted to reach out and congratulate you on 400 appearances for Spurs,» Kane said. «Incredible achievement, mate. Obviously been lucky enough to spend a lot of those appearances with you, so it's been a privilege! Great guy, a great footballer and keep it going, mate.
»I'm watching you every week — keep smashing it, keep scoring goals and I hope to see you soon."
