Harry Kane set for Bayern Munich transfer reunion as Antonio Conte makes decision

Harry Kane could be on for a reunion with his previous boss Antonio Conte at Allianz Arena. Reports suggest that the Italian manager is being considered to replace Thomas Tuchel at season's end. Bayern Munich announced in February their intention to split from their German coach after a tough season.

Kane has gotten off to an impressive start to his Bundesliga journey, scoring 37 goals in 35 matches in all competitions with Bayern. But, Bayer Leverkusen is now 10 points ahead of the German team after 11 straight title wins making domestic success seem unlikely.

Conte hasn't managed since leaving Spurs one year ago. Bayern allegedly sees him and other successful Premier League and Serie A managers like Xabi Alonso as top contenders for their next coach.

Although Conte couldn't turn around the Tottenham's fortunes in North London, he did witness Kane continue to perform exceptionally. Under Conte's management, the England skipper scored 43 goals in 75 appearances, reports the Mirror.

Kane spoke fondly of Conte after his departure, wishing him well and revealing they had a positive connection. «Obviously I wish Antonio all the best,» said Kane in April 2023.
