Harvey Elliott insists "this season feels different" for a new-look Liverpool as they aim to make it six straight wins when they entertain West Ham United on Sunday.
The Reds beat LASK 3-1 in the Europa League on Thursday to extend an unbeaten run that started in April to 17 games, with Elliott playing the full match at the Raiffeisen Arena in Linz.
With as many as six first-team players leaving in the summer and four being brought in to take their places in the squad, Jurgen Klopp has spoken enthusiastically about what he has referred to as "Liverpool 2.0" who are in "year one" of their development.
Elliott agrees with his manager's assessment and says he and his colleagues are looking to be as helpful as possible as Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endo continue the fledgling stages of their Anfield careers.

"This season feels different, the hunger and desire, and we just need to keep putting in these performances and keep coming away with three points," Elliott said. "We are just trying to bed [new players] into the team and try to make them fee welcome as quickly as possible and try to show them the Liverpool way.
"We are a team and whoever steps up plays and you have to know what it means to play for Liverpool and they have got that instantly. We just need to keep bedding them in and keep making them feel welcome.
"It is healthy competition, we just need to keep driving each other on. When I come off the bench I need to try to make an impact, give it 100% and try something different. Like [against LASK],
