Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has delighted supporters after delivering a rousing megaphone speech on international duty with Denmark.
The £72million frontman, who joined the club from Atalanta this summer, was brought on during his country's 1-0 win over Finland in Euro 2024 qualifying.
The victory saw them take a giant stride closer to sealing their spot at the tournament next year and moved them top of Group H, and Hojlund took the opportunity to thank the travelling matchgoers with an impassioned cry.
After the final whistle, the 20-year-old moved toward the away section holding a loudhailer and declared that Denmark would indeed reach the Euros.
'I heard you all game and your passion is everything in football,' Hojlund said. 'We are going to the f***ing Euros, f***ing come on!'
Unsurprisingly, United fans were quick to hail their ace's leadership qualities.
'Rasmus Hojlund is a true leader!' one account posted on X. 'Can tell he is actually passionate about football and not just another random player.
'After Bruno, this has to be the best signing that has secured us for the future!
'He hasn't scored or played [the] full 90 yet but he already has the potential to go down as one of our club legends!'
The praise continued, with one account even tipping Hojlund as a potential captain.
'Future captain, leader and king,' they wrote, alongside a photo of him scoring.
Another added: 'He's going to fire us to league glory', while a fourth said, 'His passion is fire. We love it!'
A fifth user, meanwhile, joked: 'Reminds me of the Vikings series.'
