Jurgen Klopp has already secured some silverware on what is his last season in charge of Liverpool.

Despite injuries meaning he had to turn to several of the club’s young players, the Reds came out as 1-0 winners over Chelsea after extra time thanks to Virgil van Dijk’s goal.
Having picked up the first trophy of the season on offer, attention now turns to adding to that haul in what could be a dream end to Klopp’s tenure at the club. Firstly, eyes are on league matters with the club currently sitting at the top of the table for what looks like it could be a close title race with Manchester City and Arsenal.

Liverpool’s fate is in their own hand, in terms that they don’t have to rely on other results to secure the Premier League title. To guarantee lifting the Premier League trophy for the second time at the end of the season, the Reds need 33 points, which means winning all 11 matches that lie in front of them.
That is, of course, presuming that Manchester City and Arsenal win all of their remaining games between now and the end of the campaign. Any slip-ups would see the number of points Liverpool need reduce without them even playing.
Then there is goal difference to take into account. If Man City make up the one-point difference between the two sides, then they would currently go above Liverpool on goal difference, the same goes with Arsenal should they make up the two-point deficit.
