How to film a reindeer visiting your home at Christmas

McDonald's has launched an online site allowing parents to capture magical moments from the comfort of their couch.

The Reindeer Ready Live website technology will transport one of Santa's reindeer to your front room where you can film footage before it flies off for Christmas.

You can download the app from the Reindeer Ready Hub, scan the QR code or visit the website here via mobile - desktop computers won't be able to capture the footage.

Instructions will lead you to find a place in your home for the reindeer to arrive and like magic one will appear. Those capturing the footage can also position the animal to their needs.

Once everything is in place the video will be processed and you can show the results to kids who will no doubt be ecstatic at the surprise guest appearance.
