Huge Gabriel moment spotted as Arsenal star's decision saves Mikel Arteta against Man United
Gabriel Magalhaes returned to the Arsenal starting XI against Manchester United after Mikel Arteta snubbed the Brazilian for the opening three Premier League fixtures. The 25-year-old was a stalwart at the back for the Gunners last term as his performances were a key reason for helping Arsenal challenge for the Premier League title.
Gabriel was heavily linked with a move away from the club throughout the summer transfer window with his absence from the starting XI sparking further speculation over his future under Mikel Arteta. Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad with the President of the Saudi Federation were said to have held a meeting with the player earlier this month.

Just days later, Gabriel was back in the starting XI after Thomas Partey suffered a groin injury ahead of the clash against United. Ben White reverted to right-back, allowing the Brazilian to partner William Saliba at centre-back.
The 25-year-old put in a solid performance and saved Arsenal from losing the game heading towards the 90th minute. Alejandro Garnacho broke free and slotted the ball past Aaron Ramsdale, only for VAR to intervene and show that the youngster was in fact in an offside position as he was played through.
