Arsenal transfer news - Former Gunners' record signing Nicolas Pepe is likely to leave the Emirates Stadium sooner rather than later
Nicolas Pepe's days at Arsenal appear to be numbered.
The Ivory Coast international is now into the final ten months of his contact at the Emirates Stadium and it is clear that he is now part of Mikel Arteta's plans for the 2023/24 season. The 28-year-old spent last term out on loan in Ligue 1 with OGC Nice before returning to north London earlier this summer.

Potential Salah impact
According to The Athletic, neither Liverpool winger Mohammed Salah nor Manchester United wideman Jadon Sancho will be joining a Saudi Arabian team before Thursday night's transfer deadline.
Inadvertently, this has a slim chance of impacting Pepe, with the fact that Sancho and Salah not moving to the Saudi Pro League, could potentially lead them to target another Premier League winger, in the form of Pepe.
Wages claim
CBS journalist James Benge has claimed that Pepe has been asking for an unrealistic salary from interested Saudi clubs, asking for a significant pay rise from what he currently makes at the Emirates Stadium.
Speaking about Pepe on Charles Watts' YouTube channel, Benge said: "I can see a world where Arteta plays Cedric (Soares), I can list you about six players in the academy that Arteta would pick before Pepe. From what I heard, the salary he asked for in July, or his representatives asked for, was way out of line with anything he could get from a Saudi Arabian club.
