Ange Postecoglou has dismissed speculation linking him with the soon-to-be-vacant managerial role at Liverpool - labelling rumours as no interest to him.
The 58-year-old Australian was appointed as Antonio Conte's successor at Tottenham Hotspur last July, and has earned plaudits for his attack-minded style of play that has guided Spurs to fourth in the Premier League table after 24 games. As a result, Postecoglou has been tentatively linked with replacing Jurgen Klopp at Anfield after the shock announcement that the German would be leaving the club at the end of the season.
Postecoglou, however, has insisted talk of becoming the next Liverpool boss will never "enter my brain space" as he doubled down on his commitment to Tottenham just seven months after arriving in North London.

"I may be on a shortlist," said Postecoglou. "I don’t think I want to say anything about that because I don’t think that’s ever going to enter my brain space for what are my priorities in life and profession right now."
Asked if links with the soon-to-be-vacant post were viewed as complimentary, the former Celtic and Yokohama F. Marinos manager answered: "It depends. If it’s just people throwing up names, then who cares? Like, seriously? But, at the end of the day, if I’m doing a good job then hopefully people will acknowledge that in one form or another - whatever that form is. But so-called 'chat', that’s of no interest to me."
