Liverpool have been urged to commission statues to honour both Jurgen Klopp and Sir Kenny Dalglish at Anfield.
Former defender Jose Enrique, who was one of just a handful to have played under both iconic managers, has opened up on his gratitude to Sir Kenny for his help after he underwent an eight-hour operation to remove a tumour from his brain in 2018.
Enrique played just four times for Klopp, captaining a team against Exeter in an FA Cup win in January 2016 having made 43 appearances for Dalglish following a £6m move from Newcastle in the summer of 2011. During his five years on Merseyside, the left-back was given a close-up look at how both managers operate.
The Spaniard says he cannot compare and contrast their respective styles too much but believes the pair should be immortalised at Anfield in the same way the club have previously paid tribute to legendary figures Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley.
