Jadon Sancho is reportedly ‘expected’ to leave Manchester United in January following talks with manager Erik ten Hag.
The 23-year-old recently issued a statement on social media after being left out of the matchday squad against Arsenal. When asked for the reason, United manager Erik ten Hag cited the winger's performances in training had not been up to the expected standard but Sancho responded on social media by claiming this was “completely untrue’.
The public fallout has placed the England international’s.future at Old Trafford in doubt. Sancho and Ten Hag were reportedly set to hold talks on Monday but it is claimed that the pair were unable to come to an agreement.

The Daily Star has stated that Sancho is ‘expected’ to seal a loan move away from the club in January as he faces an uphill battle to save his United career. It is also claimed that Sancho and Ten Hag have ‘failed to settle their differences’.
Sancho was signed for £73m in 2021 after a stunning spell with Borussia Dortmund, who have been touted as a possible suitor. Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq also reportedly made a late attempt to sign the winger on loan as a result of his public outburst against the United boss.
Meanwhile, Football Insider has claimed that the Reds considered a late move for Brentford left-back Rico Henry in the final stages of the transfer window. United were in desperate need of reinforcements after losing Luke Shaw to injury and with Tyrell Malacia also on the sidelines.
The report claims that United were ready to ‘step up’ their interest in Henry, 26, but were unable to get a deal over the line. Instead, the club completed the loan signing
