Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher was furious with Sheffield United's performance in the first half against Arsenal.
The Gunners recorded a 6-0 win over the Blades in the Premier League clash at Bramall Lane on Monday Night Football. Arsenal held a 5-0 lead going into the half-time break, which was the reason behind Carragher's criticism.
Sheffield United are battling to avoid relegation from the Premier League in their first season since promotion from the Championship, but have recently lost 5-0 at home to Aston Villa and Brighton. Martin Odegaard opened the scoring after just five minutes before Jayden Bogle scored an own goal to make it 2-0 to Arsenal. Gabriel Martinelli got another goal soon after before Kai Havertz and Declan Rice also scored before half-time as the Gunners held a 5-0 lead going into the break.

Lots of home fans left early as Arsenal continued to add to the score sheet before half-time. And Carragher was very unhappy when talking about it on Sky Sports, reports the Mirror.
“That was a disgrace that, in terms of a half of football," said Carragher during the half-time interval on Sky Sports. «It's one of the most one-sided games I've ever seen.
