Jesse Lingard's home debut for FC Seoul has set a new K League attendance record.
The 31-year-old completed a surprise move to the South Korean club last month after being released from his Nottingham Forest contract at the end of last season.
Lingard's arrival promoted massive excitement ahead of his home debut against Incheon United on Sunday.
A 'Lingard Zone' was set up outside the stadium prior to the match so fans can get a hold of the former Manchester United forward's FC Seoul merchandise.
A massive crowd of 51,670 packed into the Seoul World Cup Stadium to get a glimpse of Lingard in the Gyeongin Derby, setting a new attendance record in the K League in the process.
But they were made to wait as he once again started on the bench, having done the same last weekend before coming on to a chorus of boos.
Lingard entered the pitch when he replaced Takuya Shigehiro after the half hour mark to a warm reception.
The match ended 0-0 but the forward had an opportunity to get on the scoresheet in the 83rd minute, but could only rifle his effort over the bar.
Speaking after the game, Lingard said: 'Probably should have won in the end. I had a couple of half-chances.
'Not enough clear chances, but I think we can build on this. I think it's all about mindset and confidence coming into these games.
'In front of a big crowd, first home game - amazing support throughout.
'We maybe should have finished off our chances.'
