Rennes will be hoping to regain momentum after their Coupe de France semi-final defeat against PSG midweek as they travel to face Monaco in Ligue 1 on Sunday afternoon.
L’Équipe report that Julien Stéphan is set to make three changes from his team which suffered cup semi-final heartbreak in midweek. One of these changes is set to take place at right back with Guéla Doué set to be replaced by Alidu Seidu.
The other two changes are set to take place in midfield. Stéphan is set to change formation from a 4-2-3-1 to a 4-4-2. This should see Ludovic Blas drop out of the team with Azor Matusiwa returning to the side at the base of midfield. Martin Terrier is also set to return and replace Amine Gouiri who should drop to the bench.
Steve Mandanda – Alidu Seidu, Warmed Omari, Arthur Theate, Adrien Truffert – Desiré Doué, Baptiste Santamaria, Azor Matusiwa, Benjamin Bourigeaud – Arnaud Kalimuendo, Martin Terrier.
