Kaizer Chiefs seemingly had two options to approach the situation of the passing away of Luke Fleurs prior to their game against Chippa United, and interim coach Cavin Johnson has suggested that they made the right decision.
There were concerns on whether Chiefs' game against Chippa away in East London last Saturday would go ahead after the tragic passing of defender Fleurs during the week, leading up to that encounter.

After Amakhosi lost 2-0 to the Chilli Boys, there are a lot of question marks on whether the Soweto giants should have asked for a postponement and properly mourn the passing of one of their own during that weekend.
Former Bafana Bafana defender Matthew Booth says it's easy to judge the situation, in hindsight, because playing through the emotions and playing for Fleurs could have been an option Chiefs decided to take.
"It's very difficult to know what was said within the squad. If the leaders in the team said, 'Let's play on the emotion, let's play for Luke', that could have been an option. Then you go forth and play for him and use that emotion. That can be an option," Booth said on SuperSport's Extra-Time.
"The second option, which in hindsight, now that they have lost, perhaps people will now say it was too soon. It's very easy to say. Hindsight is a fantastic thing.
"You could say let's respect the process, I'm sure the PSL would have granted that reprieve and you mourn him. So, there's these two options, so we'll never know actually what was said in the team meetings building up to the game," he said.
Johnson alluded, in his post-match press conference, that their performance was what Luke would have liked.
